Despite all this, i never knew that sikhs are different than hindus. My first time in New York back in 1995 i was filling up at a gas station. When i paid the sikh owner just to be polite i said “Jai ram ji ki” to him as i walked out. He did give me a wierd stare which i thought was pretty rude. When i got back in the car and i told my friend what just happened he started crackin up. It was then i found out that theyre two different religions :halo:
