Lucky Charms

Do you carry them around with you? Ive noticed non Pak people do it…
I wondered if you guys do
things like
lucky pennies, a one dollor bill( ive seen a few people who do that)
feathers, sprig of heather, a shell…
what do you have?

Ermm, actually i don’t carry a lucky charm on a daily basis anymore…used to have a special seashell that i kept in my rucksack when i was little…now when i go somewhere for holidays, i take my pink panther teddy with me everytime (and even at home, i still have it next to me when i sleep hehe) cos i’ve been in love with pink panther since i was a child, and so my fiance gave me this teddy like 4 yrs ago and so i think it’s kinda special and lucky for me!

I carried a little sprig of "lucky" heather with me in my purse for ages purely because I was accosted a forceful Irish woman and it was easier to pay her and have some weeds stuffed into my hand... something I could have easily picked from the garden

Anyway... I put it in my purse

and I lost it (the purse) a few months later....

Come to think of it I do have one in my handbag all the time but its not intentional for getting good luck. I have a four leaf clover which I picked from the front of my house and put it in this unused diary that I had once put in my bag and never got around to taking it out. I do have a horse shoe pendant too which I wear very often but again its not that it may bring me good luck but just cos I like it.

I had a black silk thread around my ankle. It finally broke a few months back, it had been on my ankle for probably around 2 yrs to ward off "evil eye". Shortly after it broke, I had the most awful nightmare about one of my boys....it really did give me some sort of comfort and I guess it was really on my mind when it broke. silly I guess but hey you never know!

I would love to have a Lexus for my lucky charm. Coupled with my personal charm, this lucky charm would bring me a lot of luck. :p :p

Lol, i saw the thread and though to myself, lazy daisy doesnt seem to tbe the kinda person to eat lucky charms cereal!!

I dont really belive in lucky charms or lucky anything else for that matter. I could say more abt this but then i am not in the religion forum.

Well it’s not a lucky charm since it doesnt affect my day positively or negatively, but I hav this tiny lil card in the zippered portion of my bag. It was one of those tags attached to gift bags and my frend had written in it… a very standard msg, and it got washed away coz of rain … so u can barely read wat’s witten on it, but I still carry it coz its frm some1 very special
