Lubna Wax or any other Wax.

** Hey guppies, **
I have been using this cold wax from pakistan that works great but it makes a huge mess and takes forever. My moms friend gave me Lubna wax and says it works wonders, but i cant seem to figure out how to use it. Its like any other hot wax but it didnt take out any of my hairs it basically just left a very sticky after effect. If you guys know any good Wax from pakistan or here…please let me know. Id really appriciate it!

Re: Lubna Wax or any other Wax.

don't heat the wax. use it straight out of the jar. use a spatula of sorts to spread a thin layer over the hair, and then use a thick cloth, something like old jeans to wax. the main key is to not heat the wax in the microwave or using hot water. that totally ruins the wax.

Re: Lubna Wax or any other Wax.

I’ve only used it while it was warm and it worked great, when it gets cold it didn’t work. This is a really good one as well:

Re: Lubna Wax or any other Wax.

LOL.. sorry to derail the thread but when I saw the thread title and saw the word LUBNA in it I got shocked because that’s my mom’s name:cb:…

really?
so, since i already microwaved it once, Should i discard it now?
or its still ok to use it? Thanks hun!

Re: Lubna Wax or any other Wax.

hey try gigi hard wax from sally beauty supply- it's awesome, you don't even need any strips; the wax is your strip.

hahahahaha lol sorry…

waxing strips are good too no mess and easy to use

yeah, from my experience, whenever i zapped it, it went bad...the stickyness goes away for some reason. if you live in a very cold area, then during winters you can keep the wax in the kitchen or some place like that, and it should be warm enough for you to apply it, and if you have bad summers, then just put it in the basement. you won't have to use the microwave. and if it's really thick, and hard to apply, then use put some hot water in a bowl, put the jar of the wax in it, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and it should be easy enough to apply it then.

Re: Lubna Wax or any other Wax.

have used Lubna wax for more than a decade and its pretty good. I just microwave it for 15 seconds and its soft enough.....doesnt leave much of a mess because its water soluble one. From the American waxes, one that was similar was Nads--which smells great.

I agree.. gigi wax is just too good. I haven't tried this hard one, but have been using their pink one (you have to slightly microwave it). works wonders.

Recently, I also tried a regular one from walmart, I think it was Andrea or so and their full body/ face/leg wax, it was realllllllllly good. I would possibly re-buy both..
