Some people can be really annoying.
Especially if they turn anything and everything into a conversation about themselves…ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Does anyone here know people like this?
I know many of such kind and the best way to handle them is to be honest with them, if they talk crap, just tell them so. I don't see why you have to suffer for listening to their junk.

actually when im talkin bout myself it’s not the talk of bragging, it’s just talkin bout old memories n not like i talk throughout but my friends contribute too

Let me make it more clear. I'm talking about those vain people. For example I could be having a conversation with you guys and all of a sudden this vain person jumps in and manages to steer the entire conversation to one about themselves. It's done in way that they are superior to everyone else. Whatever they have experienced or are talking about (to them) is more important than what anyone else is talking about. I've seen it on certain people's threads here. Every thread opened is about themself however, disguised as a "what would you do situation." They require constant feedback about themself(not mentioning any names). Could you get off yourselves already.
Everyone talks about themselves. It's human nature. I'm talking about those who take it to the extreme where the only thing of any importance is THEMSELF :)
i kinda dont like threads that begin with "some people".
have the guts to say it out loud and name poeple.
nobody bites around here.
and if they do, one generally deserves it.

I think Gupshup is like therapy for some people … a place where they can come, be totally selfish and just talk about themselves. I don’t really see anything wrong with it as long as they aren’t being abusive towards others.

If it’s really annoying you, then avoid that person’s thread or just ignore them.

I agree with you. That's exactly my point. Being abusive to others verbally is totally uncalled for.
The comment about the 'thread' was an observation. The majority of responses that I've seen are usually quite sarcastic. It seems that people who have been here a while have already figured out what this person is about.
I'm realatively new here. Like I said above it was an obervation and nothing more. I have no problem with anyone here. It was an example of a 3rd person reading the topic and then reading the responses. To me it demonstrated how a topic of conversation can be manipulated.
My experiences have been from Real Life situations where people do this.
I’m like that. I love to talk about me all the time. Looking inthe mirror for days, walking past a shop and stopping to check myself out in the glass … You know the whole 9 nine yards!
