We all know both of them lead the best ever TEST side.We can always have debates that which one was better.But for sure both these teams by far were best team of their times.
But very few of us know unless you are as old as Ehsan bhai about the last series of Loyd.He lead his world beating team to Australia for his farewell series. It was Summer of 1984-85. His last test was at Sydney and boy..worldbeaters was beaten in his last test match by an Inning and 55 runs.A Debutant spinner RG Holland did the damage and after few more tests he disappeared.But farewell party was spoiled.
so who thinks Loyd and Steve waugh ,Captians of 2 greatest TEST side ever played, will have same kinda farewell on same ground.
And how will play Holland?? Irfan or Kumble or Kartik??
Even though there are still two days to go and it looks bad for Steve Waugh, you never know with this Aussie team, they might just pull it to a draw. If he manages a draw then I will rate him higher than Lloyd. FB, how come you forgot that Last series of Clive, you were on the ground, collecting pebbles. :)
