I do wonder occasionally , how people manage to spend 20 years or 30 years working for the same company

Easy answer some people like to live in their comfort zones. They lack ambition , hate adventure , taking risk and looking for greener pastures. You will not find those guys at the higher steps of the corporate ladders.
