How do low lights look on desi people? I am a little confused on whether or not I should get them. My original hair are thick & dark brown in colour. Which shade should i go for if i do get them? I hope they don’t give a fake look on some one with a wheatish complexion.
**Please post before & after pictures. **
Something like this is good but I guess much lighter than my originals. I’d like to keep them as close as possible.
In the fall/winter I usually have my hair coloured a really dark brown that's maybe one-two shades lighter than my natural hair colour (which isn't pure black anyhow) and then I have black lowlights put in. Personally, I think it's a fabulous colour combination and very natural looking for desi complexions.

Seriously - that's what i was wondering .. Shabash go play outside! :p
I wanted to get them for a Very long time but I don't think I'll be able to puLl the look off..I would probably just go with a deep brownish color instead of going bright..

Exactly the thing! I dont want to go too bright too, I wanna keep it as close as possible to my originals yet looked chic.
I don't think brown looks bad on wheatish skin tones. I am wheatish...I go for light brown all the time...heck I am doing red soon!
Agreed. I'm not "fair".....NC42.....but I usually alternate between light brown all over highlights and red (deep red & some brighter red "peek a boo" streaks). It all depends on the specific shade of brown (or red). :)
