TLC’s All American Muslim shows several Muslim families as average, everyday Americans, in an attempt to educate others about how Muslims actually live in America. A right wing group, called the Florida Family Association, pressured Lowe’s to pull their ads from the show because they claim that the show gives a false impression of Muslims, and doesn’t portray them accurately, i.e. doesn’t show them as terrorists. Incredibly, Lowe’s actually caved to these nut jobs. The FFA website was hacked by Anonymous, who promised further retribution against Lowe’s.

Lowes has shown that they have no backbone and would rather not tick off bigots
Now this FFA is the same group that had an issue with halal poultry at one time
at the end of the day its bigots, spawn of bigots who were probably lynching african americans at one time and are just looking for a different outlet for their hate and try to make up for feelings of inadequacy, and small weewees.

Ironically, the pulled the ad to avoid controversy...
Now people are calling for boycott's of Lowe's. From a marketer's point of view, I can see why they'd want to avoid controversy but what kind of idiot doesn't realize that this is going to backfire? I don't think they're bigoted, just incredibly weak to give in to what is obviously a hate group.

I did not call Lowe's bigoted, although some of that may be at play in justifying a move to avoid controversy, I can't say
