Re: Loving Others

^ u stole mine :hoonh:

i admire the imam from our masjid…

Imam Majid (from Sudan) and his wife Omarah (African-American). mashAllah they have done so much for our community as a whole but particularly for our Muslim youth. They keep up with the times and do their very best to appeal to todays generation without sacrificing (or “editing” if you will) the teachings from the Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW).

Re: Loving Others

I admire all of you and those that post after me.

May Allah (SWT) bless you all with best of this world and the hereafter.

JazakAllahuKhairun All

I have a good friend named Marwan he now lives in Jordan works as an Islamic clothes distributor and he studies under a few Sheikhs ... He attends circles by Nuh Ha Meem Keller these days.

He was the Islamic 'rock' during our Uni days, MashaAllah! From Egypt he married a Malay sister who also attended the Uni.

Re: Loving Others

This is the other Ibrahim…

He came to my college as a regular guy (no beard, jeans, music e.t.c.)…He was approached by a midwestern Christian girl in his class who asked him about Islam…They fell in love, she became a Muslimah (Abaya, Niqab and all) and it was her who insisted they move back to Egypt…

Today, Br. Ibrahim is a world renowned scholar and his lectures are in downloadable format on many Islamic sites…

Re: Loving Others

Katherina, my husband's friend's wife, she is a revert and from Finland. She was the first revert sister whom I met in the UK, I was amazed to see her in hijab as the concept of muslim women covering head an obligation was not new but strange to me(unfortunately).
