Loving names you call your husband/wife/fiance/fiancee/other half etc

Do you guys have a particular name that you call your significant other? Do they call you the same? Do you only use these endearing names for each other in private?

Do you feel shy calling your other half ‘jaan’ ‘baby’ etc. in front of other people - i.e. family and friends?

I think it depends from couple to couple. Person to person.
Usually couples who live in a joint family have this *reserved *approach. As far as i have observed.

Re: Loving names you call your husband/wife/fiance/fiancee/other half etc

hubby calls me “darling”

I call him “listen” or just say “listen yO!” with a push on his head! if he is really not paying attention to what I am saying :hehe:

I know he’s dying to hear me call him darling

That ain’t gonna happen :serious:

:omg:

Re: Loving names you call your husband/wife/fiance/fiancee/other half etc

Lol NJMasti - 'listen' is a good one :) - awww go on call him darling, make his day!

Namaan - I have noticed with the older generation that women do not address their husbands by their name but with insert oldest child/first sons name ka abba lol, I think its great!

Cold fire - I agree. I guess it's just too embarrassing lol.

I've noticed some people do go mad wit this. I know of a girl that married a family friend of ours a few years back... she calls him 'baby' and places her hand on his leg in front of his parents when they are visiting. The parents obviously find it rather uncomfortable!

Re: Loving names you call your husband/wife/fiance/fiancee/other half etc

“abay O” might be appropriate slang for “under class” strangers - but I think you should give it a try and say it to wify dear today - and then see the reaction!
