Yup people seem to be very currupt now a days. People don't have the guts to fall in love. Theres too much lust. I know people who cant even think about being with one person for few months.

true love is like a fantasy now, honestly there's like may be 1 in 50 ppl who would actually say they are truly in love. not the oh u pissed me off or she's hotter so im gonna go for her type. but the true true love.

from wut i see, marriages where ppl got married and then fell in love succeeded more than marriages where ppl fell in love and then married... wonder if it's true

"Love" doesn't have a fixed defination. Its different for different people. Its generally categorized in 6 categories (check wikipedia.org for more info).

I beleive love is accepting and respecting another with all their flaws. "Love at first sight" certainly becomes a possibility ;)

ok so heres another situation…
The only way you can get to know The other person is by sending a rishta.
So you see someone that you like as far as looks and behavior but to get to know her u have to ask for her rishta.

Since i grew up in Usa. I am aware of these customs. But i would have trouble going thru with them lol Over here you get to know someone for yearsss and then you decide if you want to be with them or you dont.

Ok so what would u do if the only way you can get to know a person is by askin for their hand. And remember once u ask for someons hand…its not good to back off from the commitment.

u don't necessary have to send a rishta, you could just ask his/her contact number and then express your feelings to that person. then ask them for their answer. if u love that person a lot then he/she shouldn't reject u because it is very hard to find someone who truely loves you these days.

Sometimes there are responsibilities and circumstances that go beyond true love and I would feel very sorry for those who run away from that. True, it may not be the best or the the most peacefull decision they made in their lives… true love remains forever no matter what happens.

Yea thats how it is here. But in pakistan some families are very conservative. I know people date and go out in pakistan but some families are very strict.

Yea i have done did all of that. But over here... you go out with a girl for few months and then decide if you want to be with her for few more months or not lol So just having few converstations and making a decision is strange to me. I just have to be more tradition i guess. I also have to think about spending the whole life with this one person. But inshallah if its meant to be it will happen.

This only happens to desis who seem to fall in love at the drop of the hat. More often than not it is just infatuation or lust that desis mistake for ‘Love’.

well i would quote a live example here that i know a girl (my friend) whose rishta got pakka withan Air Force officer, she saw him after 2 months of her engagement.

the guy fallen in first sight love with my friend. though she is really very pretty, smart and gorgeous...so is the man, very tall and very smart.

that is an examle of such love..
being an eastern girl this is something very commo to us and i personally like alot to be in such love who is your parent's choice first and then it become you love....
