On the contrary, you would only get t know what they tell you about them in one on one conversation. If the other person is already interested in you, fabrication is gonna be very much on the cards. You know you will only seen the greener side.
what to say that one wouldnt get a greener picture painted had they met through other means.
as with any situation, you will get your bad peas and good!! And if someone is out to decieve you they will decieve whether they meet you online or in person! personally online, i think there is an element of greater control of pace. if you get to speak with someone long enough you tend to form a rounded enough picture...good or bad.
Of course, but that can be the case in 'real life' too.

In real life you have means to locate the 'grayer' sides too.
Internet just provides a spark. Just like stones it self does not burn but provides the spark for fire. Internet just provides the spark for love which should be build upon with other medium including phone and face-2-face meeting.
Having said this, I think in 90% of the cases, its just dewangi and not love on the net.
See, if you had made an effort, you might have been able to find someone too.
Now, seriously speaking, I think the internet is just another means of meeting someone. Since the internet became more widely available, its been much easier to find people with whom you have things in common.
Its not true love , its e-Love . You remove 'e' part of it , and it will disappear in to thin air . But again its all virtual reality and nothing is certain . Its better to be sane and meet in person before falling for someone .
