Adding to this point..........at first sight, you are simply attracted because of their beauty. Beauty is everywhere in the world. Hence, a person can be attracted to every beautiful person he/she sees on the street. But you cannot call this love every time you are attracted. I mean what will you do "fall in love every 5 minutes you see a beautiful person walking down the street"

True beauty is everywhere but its not called love at first sight....you might see a thousand beautiful women and out of them you may only love/lust for one of them:)

So if out of 1000 beautiful women, you are only attracted to one after looking at her just for a minute, that’s love.

I am not saying it is love....I am referring to the term 'love at first sight' which may well be lust. Its when you see someone and instantly something happens to you. Its not the same as seeing beautiful women and thinking they look beautiful or wanting them...its more than that.

Actually, i've been awestruck by the beauty of a few girls, i dont think it was lust, cuz sex was the last thing on my mind, it was love at first sight. :)

i think its a combination of awe and appreciation…i dunno how to explain, but u can just stare at the person for hours and not get bored at all and the more you get to know the person the more you fall in love with that person…I believe there is someone up there who has a upper hand in all that or i never thought i’s experince all that.

some sort of a physical attraction has to be there.to get the ball rolling or u may find the person charming because of their personality only and that caan create a desire to engage in lust with them...it works both ways.

You would not be charmed by someones personality because you don't really know that person.....you just seen the person and something has just clicked and the you may attempt to get to know the person better.

Yes it can happen.. It did to me..
I met this girl and i fell in love with her.
And the more i got to know her the crazier it got

So yes its possible why .. Coz true love is unconditional ..
it overcomes your fears your desires your dreams as you become her
But sadly Love unless Reciprocated unconditionally ends up in a tragedy..

a crush is not love. i think love has lost it's meaning in this time and age. liking, crushing, etc is being called love eventhough love is much much more than that

Some of the most famous people may be snobs but a lot of really beautiful ordinary people aren't snobs, and some of them also have personalities and minds to match.

You seem to have vision about some important facts of life. Yes, this is the most important thing for anyone.

Thats what I say to my friends. Love at first sight is not possible except lust. True love is what grows slowly and with time becomes a strong tree with careful nurturing and care.

Secondly, Allah puts love in the hearts of two people after marriage. No doubt about it. Thats why, I do not think love at first sight has some logical reasoning.... other than being a lustful fantacy of Indian movies....
