No one person completes another. You have to be able to complete yourself. If you are looking outside of yourself, then you are depending on someone else to make you happy. This is unhealthy.

One needs to be happy alone. Only then can they make another happy.

Muzna , that is totally true to the essence that I am trying to convey here.NOBODY should have the RESPONSIBLITY to make another person HAPPY...You know the kind of Responsibility that westart assuming...Something of this scenario..."Our children will make us happy as e are doing this this this for them.....u know its giving the kids this responsibility o give us happiness...somethngs that they didnt ask for to begin with....I know we as their parents know some things better then them...but its just that we shouldnt make it into expectations from them or from any one else...Im going off the topic...anyway...Only WE can Complete ourselves...Nobody else....
Nobody can Make an Unhappy person...happy....who is unhappy within...

I wouldn’t really place importance on how the marriage began, I think how it develops and lasts would require more thought. The love/arranged/wedding days are minor issues compared to a whole lifetime of living as a married person.

Can marriage make you complete?

I think this question is slightly redundant as nothing in life can achive self wholeness. Nobody has everything. Does depend on what people feel they need to be complete though. For example, some people only need shoes.

yes nothing in life makes you comnplete or perfect . Allah has made us imperfect .

the day some1/ something makes you complete you cannot live on. it is this characteristic that makes us human

but certainly there are things which appear to be a better option .. like some prefer love marriage over arrange or vice versa .. but this does not mean it makes you complete

By being Complete I mean Do you really know who You really are, what you Want in life, What makes You as a person Tick…Are You being TRUE TO YOURSELF…You , a BEING Created by God! Have you tried to look or found your Passion in life…I am not talking about what a person wants to be when they grow up, etc…its the Calling…have you ever thought of that…Being Independent of others to PROVIDE you with Happiness…You know once You are happy wITHIN yourself…then you are COMPLETE…

This is all about yourself, marriage is a name of compromise, it is about two people not just one. There is not pre-set formula of successful marriage. I have seen worst and best in both cases (i.e. love and arranged). It depends on bride and groom. Basic ingredient of successful marriage is patience/tolerance and forgiveness

i dont believe that its really looking outside urself when saying that marriage completes me... or the person im married to completes me. It's more that you feel secure, loved, happy when that person is with you... maybe thats is "completeness" in itself..

as Lusi said about, being complete maybe different for every individual..

i know, being with my hubby has completed me... well now that bubs is coming along, im going to feel even more complete.. i guess "completeness" interrelates to "satisfaction". As in.. am I satisfied with my life.. am i happy with the way it is.. am i happy to be where i am.. and happy with the person that i am with... for me if all these are "yes" then im definately complete and happy.

for me, my hubby does complete me... and i know this because i know id be very unhappy without him.. its different for everyone .. me thinks :)
