Love levels and those who are loved by Allah

Peace All

This is a thread comparing how “love” is placed in to people by the Sunnis and Shi’a.

It appears there is a different order … perhaps the Shi’a bretheren here can shed a bit of light on this for us.

**For Sunnis:

**Allah and Muhammad (SAW) {Note: Allah always come first, but we always place RasoolAllah next to the name of Allah}
Ibrahim (AS), Isa (AS), Musa (AS), Nuh (AS)
{the five great prophets - above}

  • The remaining prophets (AS)

  • The closest companions of RasoolAllah who are also Ahl-ul-Bait (SAW) (Abu Bakr (RA), Umar (RA), Uthman (RA), Ali (RA))

  • The remaining members of Ahl-ul-Bait and the Ashara-Mubashara

  • The remaining companions

  • Our parents (if pious)

  • The Awliyya and Mujaddidoon

  • Our parents (if non-Muslims)

  • Ourselves

I believe these are somewhat different in the Shi’a .. (below is the understanding I have obtained - please correct/agree)

**For Shi’a

**Allah, RasoolAllah (SAW), Ali (RA)
Hussein (RA), Hassan (RA), Fatimah (RA)
Khadijah (RA)

  • Other members of Ahl-ul-Bait (not the same as Sunnis)

  • Imams and the other prophets (AS)

  • Selected members of the companions

  • Parents

  • Themselves

Is this a sound understanding?

Re: Love levels and those who are loved by Allah

Synopsis of the beliefs of the Imami Shia. Summarized by the faqih of the companions, Abu ‘l-Fath Muhammad b.Ali al-Karajaki (d. 449)
Source: Tashayyu.org

Regarding prophethood, the general and the specific

38 – And that the best of the prophets are the Ulu ‘l-Azhm, and they are five: Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa,Isa, and Muhammad

39 – And that Muhammad b. `Abdullah is the best of all the prophets, the best of the first and the last, and that he is the seal of the prophets.

Regarding the Imama and khilafa

53 – And it is obligatory to believe that the Hujaj of Allah taala after His Messenger who are his khulafa, the defenders of his law, and the Imams of his Umma, are the twelve from his Ahl al-Bayt. The first of them is his brother and the son of his uncle, his son-in-law, the husband of his daughter Fatima az-Zahra, and his Wasi upon his Umma,Ali b. Abi Talib, Amir al-Mu’mineen. Then, al-Hasan b. Ali az-Zaki, then al-Husayn b.Ali ash-Shaheed, then Ali b. al-Husayn Zayn al-Abideen, then Muhammad b. Ali Baqir al-Ulum, then Jafar b. Muhammad as-Sadiq, then Musa b. Jafar al-Kazhim, then Ali b. Musa ar-Rida, then Muhammad b.Ali at-Taqi, then Ali b. Muhammad al-Muntajab, then al-Hasan b.Ali al-Hadi, then the righteous successor, the son of al-Hasan, the Mahdi

There is no Imama after the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله except for them عليهم السلام and it is not allowed to emulate in the religion except by them, and not to take the guideposts of the religion except from them. And in regards to the perfection of knowledge and `isma from sins, they are the peers of the prophets عليهم السلام

54 – And that they are the best of creation after the Messenger of Allah

55 – And that their Imamate is stipulated by Allah upon certainty and clarity.

Peace Psyah

Can you please explain whether the concept of Panjtan Pak comes from Shia sect, which is also very much followed in Sunnis.

Re: Love levels and those who are loved by Allah

From Shia perspective it will be...Allah....here though the fundamentals are the same as non Shia in terms of sifaat but our understanding of Allah does differ.....particularly from the Wahabhi understanding of Allah SWT where physical aspects r attributed to Him AZW...

-After Allah SWT it is the Prophet SAWW, panjatan (Imam Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Hussein), the rest of imams and the ulul Azam ambiya PBUT.....it is arguable as to what the correct chronological order should be within this rank.....

-Then the rest of the 124,000 ambiya AS......

-Ummahatul momineen with Khadija SA being the best wife of the Prophet
who remained faithful to him SAWW, aided him through every possible wayt and believed in him......we believe that some of the wives at times disobeyed Allah and his messenger and were condemned in the Quran for some of their deeds and plans during the life of the Prophet.......we believe that Hazrat Ayesha disobeyed clear orders of Quran and the Prophet SAWW after the departure of the Prophet SAWW from this world.........

-Then the companions of the Prophet SAWW....the selected ones (ashaab ul muntajabeen) as we do not believe all 150,000 were faithful or always remained faithful......

-then come the faithful companions of the Imams....

-In the absence of Imam, it is the Jurists who lead us to the teachings of our guides, Mohammad saww and his family....

-And then just the standard what-have-u comes afterwards......
