Re: Love it
^Easy-peasy. Just send the picture to someone in Pakistan and they will replicate it in a few days. But a Pakistani tailor is the way to go and it would be fair inexpensive compared to the original but that's the most you can do.
Re: Love it
yah but how much would that cost?
Re: Love it
OMG .....this is the best way to utilize the tilla work of my moms shaddee dress.....thanxs kakeee
Re: Love it
@kaka. the price can vary from a good copy to a not so good copy! however if u wud like something as similiar as to the original piece, i wud think the kaam only should cost you around 6-7k.
Re: Love it
^Actually, I think more around Rs. 20K to 30K but I could be wrong.
Re: Love it
^ well if she gets this kaam done from liberty, i think she shud be able to manage it around 6/7k if handled smartly. however, that def doesnt include the fabric cost and the tailoring cost so the total cost would eventually come around 15k.
Re: Love it
Also, ask Prototype by PMing her as I believe she sews outfits and does orders.

Agreed, even with kaam and fabric it is going to cost over 20K. I have had super simple outfits made with lace but no kaam and it costs atleast 10K.
Re: Love it
you can check out this one, I get my dresse made from this lady & that too on reasonable prices.
Re: Love it
thanks girls
and I've asked around its about 10k to 12k to get a replica done..
I wish I was in Pakistan I would get it made myself lol.
hmm is prototype reliable?
Re: Love it
^She is a regular here, check in the bazaar section of this forum. And it's 10K to 12K Pakistani rupees, so it'll be a lot cheaper in JPY.
Re: Love it
will do
thanks
Re: Love it
I would not expect a good copy in that range. If you want the same ghair (circumference of the bottom of the dress) and in a high quality fabric, with a proper approximation of the borders that are at the bottom (rather than cheapo laces), it will cost a lot more. I'm not sure what the fabric is but it's not regular chiffon. It's either a heavier silk chiffon (like that used in western bridal dresses) or a very fine net.
Re: Love it
so 20k then?
I really don't know anything about fabric.. even with clothes I just go into any shop and if I find what I like I buy it... (my SO thinks this is dangerous lol)
Re: Love it
Yea 10K - 12K sounds way too low for a good quality outfit. Like stoppit said look at that ghair - it requires a lot of fabric. Sewing alone of that outfit will be a lot. I would also say talk to proto - I've read good reviews and her copies look good too. I've personally never ordered though.
Re: Love it
okay will ask her
thanks
Re: Love it
I want that outfit too now!! I have no where to wear it to and I recently got some. :hinna:
Re: Love it
aw
you should get it!
