Once she told me, that her husband told her, he didn’t want to marry a girl who didn’t know how to drive, deal with bank statements, and wasn’t independent. So I don’t think there is any need for “growing together,” since they both married exactly what they wanted, and their attachment is their children.
I worked for her for about 2 years, and not a single time did I notice any expectations from either her or him for their marriage. So I guess that’s their love? I donno.
