In one of Irem’s threads, I was really disturbed to see the claim that if two people work together or interact, the Devil can whisper bad things to them. WTF?
I’m sorry, but the Devil does not have anything to do when you see that special someone and your heart sighs or beats hard or whatever. That’s all hormones and God made those hormones, thus it is all God.
Devil makes you ACT wrongly on these feelings.
Why the hell can’t desis distinguish the difference. You’d think its in our genes or something.
majazi is worldly, transient. haqiqi is real, divine.
not that im making a case against love but all feelings are given by Allah, including jealousy hatred envy schadenfreude. so it isnt really justification for it being right.
and ofcourse you're assuming that the devil is whispering thoughts of love and not other less poignant stuff.
you see them as pure, ideals of goodness of lovableness. you see their most terrible aspects as only things that are necessary to complete them, to make them as enchanting as deifiable as they are. you go through hardships they mete out to you without a murmur, debasing yourself and anything associated to you to win over their pleasure and regard. you spend nights awake, in futile, solitary vigils, hoping perhaps you'll find the oppurtunity to win their favour.
you could do all that for a person or for a God. aside from the lust aspect of love, the worship aspect is also troublesome.

By your logic, all temptations must be from God because they are all biochemically driven, and thus cannot be from Satan since it was God who made those chemicals.
The fact of the matter is that when a non-mahrem guy is alone with a girl, Satan makes up the third. His presence is there, he is acting through those biochemical agents and trying to influence your logic, trying to create impure temptations.
Frankly, there’s alwys a way to interpret things to ensure the science and the Islam are in accordance.
