Yes definetly there is some sort of scheme going on....cant identify it, but there is a reason why you meet/part. Nothing happens without some sort of reason behind it.

heres something of an odd coincidence. When I was about 15, my dad was working in the aircraft industry and one of his engineers was really into hypnosis for "past life experiences" and all that had to do with it. The guy invited us all over for a demo and had a psychic friend over too. Long story short, we were too nervous to be hypnotized but the psychic told me among other things that I would marry a "dark haired foreigner". Of course, none of us really fell for it but voila, more than a decade later there it was. She was right on many things (many of which were typical yadayada) but wrong on nothing. I wish I had bothered to take down her name.
