Love actually

Anyone seen it yet?

No doubt it’s a soppy lovey dovey movie but u gotta see one of those at least once a year!
I know I am going to :-p

I have :) actually it was quite nice.... quite contrary to what i expected, same lovey dovey stories nicley gelled together.

really? I thought it would be a flop.

well that depends, but if you liked notting hill sorta movies, you might like this too...

not a bad comedy

thumbs up over the press conference scene

Shinoo, you stole my thread! I came into this forum to post about the film but looks like you beat me to it.

Anyway finally saw the film last night and I love love love it. But then I am a big fan of Richard Curtis's stuff and generally like those 'feel good' movies.

Hugh Grant should be the prime minister in real life, and the bit where he was dancing around in Downing Street was great. I also loved the way all the little stories came together in the end although some of it was pretty cheesy.

Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson were great as usual, Martine basically played her old eastenders character but instead of pulling pints she served tea. Felt a bit sorry for Andrew Lincolns character, but serves him right for loving someone as annoying as Keira Knightly.

By the way, who is the guy in there that had the entire cinema gasping when he takes his top off? See the film and you'll know what I mean.

Also bought the soundtrack on the way home and so will finally get to learn all the words to my favourite songs at long last.

^

I saw the movie today. Indeed a lovey dovey movie but I enjoyed it
Hugh was cute when he was dancing, the guy who fancied Keira was cute too when he came at her door with the ‘cue cards’ (awww) Emma was :k:

Some bits were odd though, whatever happened to the girl with the sick brother? And that guy Ohlalalala  I don’t know who that is but errr he was cute. He looked cute with the glassses and all, had a bit of an asian look?!

Sooo anywayz, didn’t regret seeing it, but I’m sticking with the ‘once a year’ rule of mine. :-p

Shinoo, that guy with the cue cards was Andrew Lincoln. Not sure if you're old enough to remember but he was Millys boyfriend in This Life years ago. And he hasn't aged a day.

It was sad about the girl with the mentalist brother though, I still thought she and carl would get together in the end.

Pk taz, the guy is Rodrigo Santoro. Think he was in Charlies Angels.

Favourite line from the film.......Billy: And now kids, here's a serious message from your Uncle Billy. Don't buy drugs - become a pop star and they give you them for free.

Good movie...I dunno about the 15 rating though, some of the scenes were a bit graphic?

^ Ahaan I agree :o
Some scenes were totally inappropriate and unnecessary if u ask me

Which scenes? Apart from when carl took his kit off. And the two porn actors.

I've just answered my own question there. Duh!

^Bingo! Those scenes were nasty :o

Not the carl scene.

^ Well, I don't think it was for 15 year olds lol...still an enjoyable movie!

I thought the little boy, sam was ADORABLE..can't wait to see him grow up!

wats wrong with watching lovey dovey movies :hoonh:
