Louis Vuitton

Which one would you choose if you worked in the Finance field and wanted something you could take to work:

Or would you choose something else? If you have any other suggestions than the ones above please make sure they are only LV and not any other brand. Remember it can’t be flashy and needs to be a decent size. Thanks!

Re: Louis Vuitton

Hmmm...I'd go with the middle one. The other two strike me as a bit too "old" looking for some reason. The one in the middle looks shiny, pretty and professional without being flashy. Perfect for a young professional. Hope that helped.

:)

Re: Louis Vuitton

Either middle one or the last one...... pretty much agree with mistral.....

Re: Louis Vuitton

The problem is, I dont especially like the style of the first one, but it’s design makes it very easy to fit A4 sized papers/files into it and very easy to get in and out of but I definitely dont like the design of it much. :frowning:

The second style has been my all time favorite but its the worst at getting things in an out of, specially documents. Plus, I don’t know anyone thats a fan of patent leather, myself included but somehow I’m just drawn to this bag. I love the color.

Third one is great, a bit sophisticated and also a bit small. :bummer:

midddle

Ah yes. Finding a bag that not only looks good but is able to fit all those important documents. I remember that problem well.

Have you considered this? I don't know if it will work or not, but I saw it in a movie once (I think it was Legally Blonde). The main character had looped a pretty silk scarf through the handle of her conservative black brief case. It spruced the bag up, but the scarf was tasteful so the overall effect was classy.

And I'm all for the patent leather. In small, carefully administered doses, it can look VERY nice.

Re: Louis Vuitton

^yeh twirling it around or even tying it at the side of the handle, looks really nice but still i would want a pretty style.

Gotcha. You want everything to be gorgeous.

Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. I’m a fan of head to toe gorgeous myself.

I know you don’t like patent leather, but this one caught my eye. It’s quite the shiny bag, but so long as everything else you’re wearing is business conservative, you should get away with it:

Louis Vuitton: French fashion designer

Click on that link, then on Shoulder Bags/Totes, then Monogram Vernis (that’s the bag). It’s the brownish looking one. Sorry…still haven’t figured out how to post pictures.

Heck, if it weren’t for the price tag, I’d grab it for myself.

Re: Louis Vuitton

^i looked into that one also ,'brentwood' but it seems a bit too simple doenst it?

Re: Louis Vuitton

It's definitely simple. But I think the shininess of it offsets the simplicity.

Then again, it's been a while since I've been in the professional sphere so I'm not current with whatever's in vogue professionally.

Re: Louis Vuitton

2nd one

Re: Louis Vuitton

I love patent leather! I also think the middle one, perhaps the least practical but its definately easier on the eye than the other two. I have this thing about black handbags, they remind me of my head teacher at primary school...she was a witch!

Re: Louis Vuitton

first 2 r v v sophisticated

Re: Louis Vuitton

from a practicality point of view, the first one.
