In taraweeh, It is at times an irritating experience to be standing next to someone who builds his concentration by whispering aloud but ruins your concentration.

Whispering during the whole namaz from "Subhana kallahumma......." til "Assalamoalaikum warahmatullah....."
They are suppose to only move their lips without making any sound and recite it in their heart.
If you are standing next to them, you hear. " Pssreghfirjfrdkdffrc fighxdrnfdifmehdrfdjfdrfnd" which is very irritating and you can't concentrate on the words which you utter during namaz"

I know what you are saying brother. believe me, if I happen to stand next to a person like that in Taraweeh, after Salaam, I change my place, without making him feel the reason of me changing, off course

Loud whispering .. a definite no no... but as far as I am aware, the minimum whispering that is allowed can not go beyond the person standing next to you... correct me if I am wrong:)

i know what u mean! just yesterday this lady was reading out her namaz so loud! it got quite irritating! Alhumdulillah farz khatam hote hi, i changed rows and the taravih was more peaceful! :)

Sorry don’t mean to derail the thread by laughing but yes, its true and whispering out loud can get irritating.

Well, usually I used to change my place after facing such problems, but yesterday I had to change my place twice as one person was reciting with such a loud whisper that others also started reciting loud in order to be able to concentrate and avoid his loud recitation, so the whole row was doing it, even the Imaam at times also whispers aloud in the micro phone.
I am thinking of requesting the Imaam to do something about this issue, tonight insha'Allah.

What if whispering when just praying alone? i always thot it was unfavorable to do it silently..

True, an imaam once mentioned it that it should neither be so low that it is not even on your lips and only in your heart, nor should it be so high that others are disturbed.
The best is that lips should be moving in order to utter the proper pronunciation, but no voice should be uttered.
