I know gambling is haram but what about lottery? Is it forbidden in Islam?
I mean, let’s say you play lottery and you win X amount. Now would it be haram? If so, how? I mean, one can argue that Allah (swt) awarded the person with the money, hecne he/she won it. So it can’t be Haram, can it? I mean, you won it becuase Allah (swt) approved of it? Am i right?
Unfortunately, i know very little about Islam. I don’t know whether it’s haram or not, I would like to clear my doubts. Interests & Gambling is haram, no doubt about it. But i want to clear my doubts about lottery.

its kind of gambling too, you go the casino and play there on numbers or other things is same apply on to buy a lottery to get your luck. simply gamble
