What is the english of Lota?

And I came to know that in Russia, there is no concept of use of Lota nor water. He faced problem while his staying in Russia. I wonder how would be life for those pplz who depends on ‘Lota’ and not on ‘paper’.

In US too they do not use lota or water they use what they call bathroom tissue.

Since lota is not easily available here desi folks here use watering can, a plastic jug , a big mug or whatever as a substitute for lota .

Is import of lota is prohibited in such countries? Someone can earn profit by selling lota there.

What about shopping malls, airport and other places? How do asian manage there?

^yup…I never go without a bottle of water…my poor papa got quite a surprise when he landed in Canada and went to the wash room and there was no water in the toilets only tissue paper!! :cb:

in india instead of lotas,mugs r used they serve the same purpose....
those lotas were used in old days....
may be in north they still use lota but plastic mugs r common in central india....

lota days are gone in Maaaadren pakistan....we now have hand shower/toilet shower.

with limited availability of water in india,pakistan and Sri lanka....

i think having a lota is for our own safety :D

^hahaha..we get warning before they cut off the water..and that hasn't happened in YEARS!!!
