So, the whole theory of Jacob stabbing someone on the ship is incorrect as per yesterday's episode. I was kind of disappointed with Ricardo's story ... but, the ending with his wife showing up was sweet. Hmmmm, it's like the smoke monster is the devil and Jacob is trying to keep evil from taking over the world ..... Hmmmmmmmmmmm
They are going to have a Jacob episode in the future which shows how he got on the island. Some people have said on the set they were wearing Roman Costumes.
So I am thinking, it could be the Anti-Christ.
Jacob was chosen to take the Anti-Christ on a remote Island and keep that evil bottled up there.
In actual, the theory is that the anti-christ is on a remote island somewhere and when the day of judgment nears he will break his chains and come to the world.
I'm thinking this island is like the gateway for when people die. whatever choices they make on the island decides if they go to heaven or hell. The man in black tries to entice them while Jacob tried to help them to do good.

just a question. the Sideways episodes are if the plane did not crash and continues its flight to LA...correct? so im thinking, in Sawyer's sideways, Miles is his partner and they are good buddies. So Saywer knows Miles BEFORE he goes to Australia and on Oceanic 816.
So my issue is...when the place does crash, and miles arrives on the Island, how come Sawyer doesn't recognize him as his partner? Its like they are complete strangers....
I'm just baffled.

And I think Sun will die the next episode. Because the man in black said that he will kill everyone who will be candidates. So I believe that Fake-Locke will kill her.

Thats because they detonated the bomb in 1977. And some how that prevented Jacob from traveling and recruiting people and thus he was unable to change their lives.

I was wondering the same thing when I was watching it. Everyone else goes back to their normal lives. Jack is a surgeon, Clarie comes to US to give her baby for adoption, Kate is running away from police, Hurley is rich, Charlie is an addict, etc etc.
Didn't Miles communicate with the dead? That was kind of his job before he was on the island. I don't recall what season, but in one of the episode an African lady called him to her house to communicate with a dead person.
Something is not making sense here, did miles quit his job to pursue an awesome career of communicating with the deceased?

i think that's just an alternative life for them if they werent the candidates or something like that.
