^ I think he didn't want anyone to leave the island. Maybe it isn't time for them to leave? There is something they must do before they can leave?
As Ben and Locke's conversation went; Locke has some sort of uncanny relationship with the island that Ben does have even though Ben said he was born on the Island.

Has anyone noticed that the director's are portraying the island as a person. Like you know many times during the programme you hear something along the lines that the island needed his/her sacrifice?

I think Ben is not the main leader, soon I think they will reveal someone who is above him, at least thats the impression I got?

Any thoughts on the finale last week? What was that all about? Did they got rescued as I get the impression. Who was the dead guy who Jack went to see? A lot of questions but great stuff.

What a thrilling season finale. I am still lost in thoughts…
I think the dead guy is Ben … (last name benthem) Jack considered the dead one niether family or friend. Also, no body showed up for the funeral. It could be Michael too, but i guess the coffin looked too small for him. Check this out

but if that was just a dream, then i believe they are not rescued yet. Remember Charlie 's writing on his hand “not Naommy’s boat” ? I think Ben was right this time when he said that that parachute girl was trying to find this island and those are the real bad guys.

Best TV show ever !

mr g..i also think that it was ben's funeral....which was why nobody showed up, and why kate told jack that why would she have interest in going to his funeral...i also think that jack was somehow brainwashed by ben into thinking that he was better off staying at the island.
about naomi...dont know about her...im confused...if penny didnt send her...then who did? ben could be right...hmmm...
and what happened to locke after he walked away from pointing the gun at jack???
so many questions, but i know they will all be answered....just cant wait that long!!!!!

Hurley better not be 'dreaming' all this in his head....cuz most of the time he likes to be the hero.....if that is the case....i am gonna be very disappointed

One more big question. Why Jack implied to the doctor in the hospital that his father was more drunk than he was? It implied that his father was alive and present after they were rescued. That makes me think it is just jack's dream.

I didnt like the season finale that much but didnt hate it either. I think that Ben was finally right about something warning Jack about that naomi girl. That whole sequence with Jack wasnt clear either.

One thing I def dont appreciate about this show, that there are TOO many mysteries they leave unsolved and move onto new ones and so on. Grr!!! baba koi mystery tu solve ker do.

I just watched this...had to read Lostpedia to understand it...flash forward???!!!

Not sure what it is...it would move the show forward if they spent a season living in the world and then wanting to go back...who knows.
