What catch my eyes is that the person who invited them in his home saying he’s an illiterate person so whatever they going to tell or decide he’ll be agree on that. I hope he’ll be with righteous.

Re: Lost In Translation of Holy Qur'an
So what do you want to discuss?
Re: Lost In Translation of Holy Qur'an
Sorry to say, fazool behas and shows the sorry state of our country. Every one considers himself to be the righteous and spend time in trying to prove it through all means. The tableeghi guy is just trying to prove the other guy is illiterate, his behavior is showing his arrogance (nothing else).
Re: Lost In Translation of Holy Qur’an
This clip reminded a verse in Chapter 2 (Surah Al Baqarah): “And among them are unlettered ones who do not know the Scripture except in wishful thinking, but they are only assuming. So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah ,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.”
So what I would like to discuss here, that due to the translation, they differentiate one from another and call one another ‘a lair’, Like in any ‘Munazara’, one group says we won and we are on the right path.
Main point is here an ordinary person, how he’ll going to know who is on the right path and who is on the wrong path?

Yeah that is my point. An ordinary person, how he'll gonna know who is right and wrong :)
Re: Lost In Translation of Holy Qur’an
^ I know! I wont go into Jannat or dozakh based on this discussion. I cant watch it more than 15 minutes to keep my sanity.
The whole issue is that deobandis went to a barelvi mosque and wanted to use it, we know the issues between them. They should have been careful and considerate that’s all.

In this case the "aalim" is wrong, he is acting arrogantly.
Re: Lost In Translation of Holy Qur’an
I agree that Aalim, woh to khaal se baal nikaalny pr tula howa tha. Baat sirf Masjid tak hi mehdood nahi. When I went Pakistan, due to my beard a person trying to get in an argue with me. I guess he wanted to say indirectly that if you are not follower of so and so “Masluk” then you are even not allowed to keep beard
I have seen such video. These videos of Deoandi and Bralavei or Wahabis or many others from different views not only limited in Pakistan but it in India also. They are like against each others.
Re: Lost In Translation of Holy Qur'an
^ I don't have a beard that's why can't comment on discrimination due to beard sizes. In this video the tableeghi guys were wrong from the beginning to the end. They went to a mosque, and the imam there did not allow them to stay there. They should have responded with humility, but they preferred to confront him and ridicule him by calling him an ordinary molvi. When he responded by saying something hateful to their leader, they brought him to their place to further ridicule him. The Islam I know of asks is not to make fun of other religions (and their gods) so that they respect ours. The debate between deobandis, barelvis and Wahhabis should be constructive and not destructive.
