Firstly, look at your diet, you may need to revise a few of the things that you are eating. Once you have that sorted, exercise should become a good friend.

You need to do cardiovascular exercise - start off small and work your way up. I'd advise one or two sessions a week until you get more comfortable and then add time as you get more comfortable with the regime.
