Don't diet. Lose that weight gradually by eating healthy and excercising.

^^^ don't eat for the next 20 odd days...sure you'll be malnutritioned and seriously harming your health, not to mention diagnosed with anorexia....but hey, when suffering for the sake of beauty its all legal.

if u live in north america , u can buy that Hollywood 2 day diet, it says u can lose 10 pounds in 2 days......but i dont know if it works or what..never tried it but they say it can do it...

fret .... have you tried eating healthy and exercising yourself .... it simply does not fit in my lifestyle for at least another two years.

Gooni i don't remember who but someone posted this in a thread a while back.... i saved it as i found it quite interesting. Try this if u think it sounds reasonable:

Diet from the American heart association.
This must be followed exactly and you can loose upto 10lbs in 3 days .

First day:
Breakfast:
Black coffee or tea,
1 slice of toast
½ grapefruit
2 table spoons of peanut butter
Lunch:½ cup of tuna.1 slice of toast.Black coffee or tea.
Dinner:
2 Slices of any type of meat (3ounces)
1 cup of string beans
1 cup of beets.
1 small apple
1 cup of Vanilla ice cream.

Second day:
Breakfast:
1 egg,
½ banana1 slice of toast.
Black coffee or tea
Lunch:
1 cup of cottage cheese
5 saltine crackers.
Dinner:
2hot dogs.
1 cup of broccoli
½ cup of carrots.½ banana.
½ cup of vanilla ice cream.

Third day
Breakfast
5 saltine crackers.
1 slice of cheddar cheese.
1 small apple.
Black coffee or tea.
Lunch:
1 hard boiled egg.
1 slice of toast.
Dinner:
1 cup of tuna
1 cup of beets
1 cup of cauliflower
½ cantaloupe.
½ cup of vanilla ice cream

SUBSTITUTIONS:
1 cup of tuna = 1 cup of broiled shrimp.
1 cup of broccoli = 1 cup of sauerkraut.
1 cup of beets= 1 cup of green beans or 1 cucumber.
1 cup of cottage cheese = 1 cup of yogurt.
1 grapefruit = 1 small can of grapefruit juice.
Measurement:
1 cup = 8 oz.
1 small can= 8oz.
Diet works on a chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary any of the items. Salt and pepper may be used, but no other seasoning. This diet to be used 3 days at a time. In three days you will loose up to 10 ponds. After 3 days of dieting you can eat normal, BUT do not OVER DO IT. After a day of normal eating start back on your 3 day diet.
DO NOT SNACK.
You are allowed diet soda or water to drink. Coffee or tea with no sugar.
You can loose 40 ponds in 1 month if you stick to it. GOOD LUCK J.

I recently lost that much in about 2 weeks .. I already excersize very regularly and eat pretty healthy.

I just switched from doing cardio 3 times a week to 5..

30 min a day really does make a very big difference :)

eat total cereal for lunch and dinner every day for 2 weeks and u are 75% of the way there. add cardio 4 times a week and weights 3 times a week and in 20 days you will lose 10 lbs.

other option is to hop on south beach diet.

If you have the willpower you could always try the Slimfast plan, but be prepared to put some weight back on when you come off the plan.

does anyone has any experience with "Pu-Erh-Tea caspules", I've read that this is an old chinese red tea sort and can make u lose weight without the yo yo effect. ??

Saadia, do you mean green tea tablets? I heard that they speed up your metabolism and was quite excited about them but decided against taking them for various reasons.

i heard on t.v. that with the south beach diet u only lose weight in the first week, and the main reasone why u lose weight is because its a low calory diet :)

shahreen, maybe its kind of a green sorte, the tea doesn't taste good though, thats why i decided for the capsules

yes thats my concern too, now is this very bad ?? it says that the capsules have no side effects and they are not harmfull to the body... but i took it for 2 days and i am feeling my heartbeat faster for few hours and gives me extra energy. I don't know, if this way i can lose the extra pounds and its not that unhealthy, I think I should keep up with it.

A japanese friend of mine told me that it was a bad idea to use any sort of tea besides regular gree tea. He said that teas produced for weight loss and such purposes may state that they have no side effects but they do effect internal organs...negatively ofcourse.

Saadia, well i don't know whether the tablets actually work but lets face it - if they did work then everyone would be taking them and no one would bother exercising or dieting.
