If you are engaged and your fiance got fired for nothing or resign from job…
your reaction on it and your family reaction if engaged in cousins/non-cousins ?

It may be distressing situation for the fiance (in case he/she got fired) in which case you give him your support and let him move on and find another job. If he resigns, he must have had his reasons and he probably has a plan of action, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

getting fired or resign is a part of life for struggler
i will motivate him/her, this is not a reason to destroy relation
and yes off course every one do career planning surely he.she have some...
and still have paths to move on

family will try to help that guy by using resources and sources (it happend in my family too )
and hold marriage untill the guy become independent

its normal I think if you live in North America...since working as a contractor is normal here and not everyone is working for gov, or on permanent positions.

you get engaged to a person not a job.
You can motivate him to find a new job , help him by looking for vacancies in news paper and if you have contacts you can pass his resume.

Well... if the guy has responsibility of bringing in the paycheck.....and he is not able to do so.......he is not going to be able to fulfil his islamic obligation......... and islamically you can demand a divorce if married.....

uhhhhh again it depends on WHY he doesn't have a job. Did he get in a fight with his boss/coworker? dismissed b/c of bad behavior? all of the above applies if the dude was laid off thru no fault of his own...not if he was fired.
