Hehe :DMy hair are getting dry, frizzy & wavier day by day. I am sure I wouldnt be able to straighten or blow dry them every day after the wedding & if I dont do something about them, they will be messy. This is the reason I am actively looking but no one seems to help much.
Do you know if there is any sort of rebonding that gives a blow dried, of volume kind of look?
Oh come on, some one please help now …

not sure but daffy shouldn't you wait till you get married because the hairstyling actually ruins the hair with the dollops of hair sprays, backcombing and a straightening treatment would end up with you losing most of your hair.
After my shadi I had such a hard time with losing my hair and detangling my back combed hair , it was a mess...but gradually after oiling and using good shampoos for damaged treated hair , my hair got back to their original state (if not better :p)

I will be waiting till I & If I get it. For now, I am just researching & collecting reviews. I want to go for a safe, healthy option that gives the blow dried look. I dont want my hair to be damaged or have excessive hair fall later.
Im open to positive or negative reviews.

Thank You Belledonne! This is exactly what i was looking for. So basically:
- It leaves the effect from 3-6 months. This is exactly what i want; nothing permenant
- It has straight yet blow dried look
I still need to know if there is any hair fall due to it; this review didnt mention it but if other wise..

one of my very good friend has tried that and shes v happy with that..i'm too going for it before my wedding because definitely it takes alot of time to make ur hairs look even manageable, my hairs are too wavy and frizzy

my hair are also very frizzy and i iron my harn on daily basis and it takes alot of time...even when you are going out it requires so much time to iron and when i am ready i get so tired......
@maryqass: pls share *with us how much it cost and also did your friend faced hair fall after getting it done?

her hairs were shoulder length or probably little longer n they looked beautiful...to maintain them she told me that salon lady told her to use specific shampoo .details i dont know yet .n its been around 5,6 month now they were still pretty good.we work at the same office so its like everyday i used to see how good they were...she got that done from a Salon in defence lhr, dont remember the name but they charged her 20k , cost dependz on hair length mainly...i never liked rebounding but my fioncee always wanted me to go for straight hairs lol so atleast now i can trust this new invention n i'm planning to get it done in november inshallah...i"ll go inquire abt that in more detail from some salons ive in my mind n post my experience.

I got the Extenso done about year and a half ago from Karachi. My hair had the same problems of being dry,frizzy, wavy etc etc..and i had to iron it out every time i showered to make it look presentable which tuk me around 30 - 45min.
After Extenso, my hair was straight, shiny but still had volume so it gave the look as if I had ironed at home. and most of all it was very very convenient as you just wash it and go and no need to use any heating instrument like dryer or iron.
It does however makes your hair dry as is the case with any chemical treatment I belive. So its better to keep hair moisturised, well oiled and an occasional deep conditioning helps. It lasted for around 6 to 7 months after which i had to run an iron through the regrowth area in order to have consistency.
This year when I went back I got NanoKeratin treatment on my hair. It tuk most of the frizz out and losened the wave a bit but not the straightened luk of Extenso. It did however leave my hair very very soft and not the dry feel of Extenso. With Keratin treatment i still have to use a blow dryer or a straitner to style it however it now it takes 10 to 15 min to straiten it rather then 30 to 45 min.
I havent experienced any hairfall with any of these treatemnts and normally the salon ppl will check your hair to see if its strong enough to withstand the treatment. As the treatment invovles a fair amount of high heat and pulling.
I think there s also the issue of hair being dyed with these treatemnts. i guess you have to wait a while before you can get any hair color on.

I got extenso from Nina Lotia Salon in Karachi and it cost Rs. 13000. But this was back in April 2010. At that time, the lady there told me their starting for Extenso is Rs. 8000 and above. They charged extra for the shampoo, conditioner and the hair serum for post treatment use. I think it was around 6k to 7k at that time.
I am afraid I dont have a before pic however the pics in above review that someone posted is close to what my hair looked like. here s an after pic (Apologies for the bad quality).
