L'Oreal Liss Ultime

Hey Gina and others, does anyone has tried it? If yes, do you recommend it to others?

L’Oréal Liss Ultime

The parlor I go to, the lady there told me to start using this whole pack from L’Oreal. There were five items she asked me to buy, the shampoo, conditioner, Hair mask, some kind of serum and a spray. All five of them she offered me for Dhs.400 / US$ 110. I didnt buy but she said the result was 101% guaranteed.

Please let me know if anyone of you have tried these products. I really need help to manage and handle my hair properly and with some style.

I have frizzy, wavey hair and its really difficult or actually Azaab to handle them :frowning: - specially when I take bath and leave them to dry naturally, in an hour they are so big, just like the cake bakes in oven. You put a deflated batter inside and when take out its a huge inflated cake. And If mistakenly I sleep off with wet hair then… dont ask me, i cant explain :teary2:

Re: L’Oreal Liss Ultime

hey FT - i haven’t used Liss before but I have used other products in the L’oreal Professional range and they are pretty good - i liked them! i don’t think you’ll be disappointed but i don’t think you need to get all 5 products either. just decide on the two or three that seem like you will use them the most.

i don’t know how much they are separately over there but to me you haven’t missed out on anything. average Dhs.80 per product = £13.70… that’s more than the full price of any one of the products in the UK.

this place is doing 3 products for £26.70=Dhs.155 i buy from here sometimes.

i’d buy a shampoo, conditioner/masque and one of the products to help keep it smooth for straightening (if you do that). then i’d buy an additional product to enhance and tame your natural waves.. that you put on whilst your hair is wet and it will stay looking nice when it dries. ranges other than l’oreal do popular products for this. i’m sure one of our curly haired beauties can advise on that.

Re: L'Oreal Liss Ultime

Shabbo tried it once and then she woke up!

Re: L’Oreal Liss Ultime

^ then she woke up and realized she didnt have hair on head at first place :bummer:

FT, u're parlour is trying to make big bucks off of u! I bought Elvive and it delivers the same result L'Oreal does..

Re: L'Oreal Liss Ultime

Ha ha ha ha !!! fairy tale good job u r funny.

Re: L'Oreal Liss Ultime

Stoppit thanks for the reply... yes you are right they r cheap there in that link. I need to go and check whats the price in market. The parlor lady must be withdrawing some profit too.

Gina hmmmmm..... I will look for Elvive. Do you too have frizzy hair?

Frizzy hair is often caused by humidity FT.. use a hair serum "anti-frizz" serums are great as well..

Re: L'Oreal Liss Ultime

i have the same hair as you fairytale.

I use products from the john freida collection they were great! especially the hair masks you can buy little sample masks for like £2 of you just want to try it out.

I took some samples to pakistan and in humidity when my hair is CRAZY i didnt have any trouble it was smooth and sleek.

Then my cousin who pretty much has afro hair used it and she got sleek curls.

its really good.

Re: L'Oreal Liss Ultime

k thanks Gina and Alvena. Let me try to get some Anti Friz serum and John Freida' s products. Not sure if they are available here.

They're available in Lifestyle..

Re: L'Oreal Liss Ultime

not sure, i find the john frieda stuff too greasy, the serum in particular that is the main product which will give you the sleekness.

i'd say invest in an anti-frizz, smoothing shampoo and conditioner too. that way, half the job will be done when you wash your hair and you won't need to apply so much serum and other products afterward.
