L'oreal Elnett

Do any of you ladies know which is the strongest one in the UK?

I used to use the white flexible ones just for some light hold. Last year when I was in the U.S I realised I hadn’t packed any hairspray so I went to buy some. They only had “L’oreal Elnett Extra Strong Hold”… slightly smaller than the travel sized available here and $7.50!!! But it was awesome.

So earlier this year, I got my hair cut short and it looked so much better with loose curls/waves. But my hair is not co-operative and the only way they will stay is if I spray before curling them and then after… and with this stuff they last all day.

A couple of weeks back, since it was finishing, I bought the same gold can from here but “Normal Strength”. It was totally rubbish, my curls weren’t developing at all with it, I’d just get a limp wave.

The other day I bought “Extra Strength” and it’s rubbish too! I have a wedding coming up and I need to do be able to curl my hair.

I am so annoyed. Does anyone know why they are different? I don’t want to waste more buying the Supreme or Diamond hold ones in case they turn out to be crap too.

Re: L'oreal Elnett

Yeh Elnett is not good. I used to think the whole 'so easy to brush out' was awesome but no. It is NOT awesome.

I use Silvikrin now.

Re: L'oreal Elnett

But the one I bought over there was. It holds so well and brushes out so I can restyle the next day.

I need that.

Is Silvikrin really strong and does it brush out?

Re: L'oreal Elnett

i have pantene, it keeps hair in place and smells great but it feels horrid.

Re: L'oreal Elnett

It doesn't brush out as well as Elnett but curls hold better. Much better.
