how is lord of the flies similar or different to Lost when it comes to the development of Order. are they opposites in a sense becase lost goes from chaos in the beginning to law and the LotF goes frm law to anarchy?? wat do u think

lol We use the two in class too when teaching this text.
But the problem is that Lost hasn't ended yet. In the middle of LotF they establish rules and laws too. Eventually it all falls apart. The possibility is still there in Lost.

yeah were suppose to base it off the PILOT. what do you think happens to the kids when they return? like predictions for the future.. maybe they'll be traumatized

It's not great, given all the heavy-handed symbolism. But man, when taught right, it really engages 9th graders in reading and writing. So it must be worthwhile in some way...

were doing it in a 4U course lol... i thought it was boring too. maybe i wouldve liked it if i read it outside of school
