I was watching it the other day with my dad. That show is hilarious.
One of the parts, the host is interviewing this guy. They get in an argument and the host shouts “Baqwaas band karo! 
”.
And then the interviewee goes “Aapnai tho meri lines likhi haiN, abh kehrai ho kay baqwaas hai yeh! Ajeeb aadmi hai, bhai…”
That killed me.

Yea. My cousin and I once watched a huge collections of all these episodes on this DVD. The Saddam Hussein one was hilarious
…and so was the female Punjabi begger :]

Sometimes the programmes are very good and sometime they are lame. The consistency in the programmes is not there. Still the 2 gentlemen are no doubt very talented and have been an asset to Pakistan creative talent which is becoming very scarce nowadays.

I saw that one too. It was on during the eid celebrations and it was Hilarious when Moin went, tu hi ne tow yeh likha hai man I died laughing. Some of their episodes are so funny. I don’t know how Anwar Maqsood keeps a straight face with Moin doing his comedy routine

The eid episode where Moin Akhtar doesn't recognize
any other big Urdu poet but himself was hilarious. Specially
his version of
"Koobakoo phail gayee baitee thee halwai ki...
Os nay laddo say mairee pazeerai ki...and the rest of it."
And the parody of that song..."jiya baiqarar hai, amrika savar hai...mil ja mairay osama...taira intaizaar hai." I literally fell outta my chair laughing.
One of the most hilarious shows I've ever seen.

one episode that I just can’t forget in which Moin is from india (he was bald) and after every sentence he says, ’ AYOU MAA" hahahaha that was the best one ever!
I wouldnt stop laughin on it for god knows how many days. I would all of a sudden start laughin in bathroom :rootfl:
Anwar Maqsood scripts always rock! No matter its comedy or drama or lyrics ! :k:

I didn't get a chance to watch the Eid episodes, but in general, I hardly find the show funny now... the older episodes were really good (incl. the Saddam one and the Inzamam one).
the couple of earlier episodes with Anwar Maqsood and Bushra Ansari were very good too - esp. the one where she's a Sufi Pop Star and a Poet in the other. If you have access to the older episodes, I definitely recommend those.

that one was hilarious..he’s such a good actor, and anwar maqsood is a really good writer..!
umar talib you’re right about it not being that funny anymore. the last two shows weren’t that great. one where he was a sports writer, and the other where he was a member of some political party in pakistan (can’t remember the name…)
hope they come out with some good ones soon!

Tonight’s episode was hilarious Moin Akhter was playing a dulah and they were talking about the food being banned at weddings and how they can rig the system so the police doesn’t catch them! It was so funny!!!
