When I had my twins I was really tired all the time and I didnt have any time for exercise, so now years later Ive got loose skin on my belly. Its not too much its not visible at all over clothes. People even comment on how slim I am even though ive had twins.
But **I know ** its there and I hate it. I cant get rid of it with exercise cos its a different sort of fat. So do you think that next time I get pregnant and after birth if I exercise properly will I be able to get rid of it.
Come on somebody?
Well what is your exercise regime right now? Are you trying to tighten the abs and burn fat? It's not as though you have just a small window of time to tighten your tummy, you can still work on it. It's not a matter of waiting for next time necessarily if you want to get rid of it now. But if you do have more kids then ofcourse exercise will help to lose the fat. You mention it's a different kind of fat. Perhaps you are genetically prone to having a pocket of fat there which can't be removed by exercise. In that case lipo is the only thing, or just accept that it's there.
Breastfeeding releases a hormone that helps tighten your tummy.....
Other than that, I think exercise helps reduce fat and tighten muscles but loose skin is just that..loose skin that can take time to decrease.
my friend has the same issues after her two girls... she's doing gym now (cardio work) to reduce the extra 'skin' around her waist...
