it has to be personality.. if you really like the person for what they are from inside, chances are you would start loving them for their appearance too with time. After all we don't fall for every other good looking guy we spot somewhere daily. :)

Actually personality, but mostly peoples attract to look at first and personality would come at later stage when you know someone better.

Can posters also respond with their gender? Would like to see the ratio of men/women preferring looks over personality and vice versa.
The way I see it, I can MAYBE put up with an attractive girl but with zero personality. But there is NO chance of me ever hooking up with a girl with great personality but with zero looks.
Has to be happy medium, but gun to my head, I'd say looks over personality.

mm okay.. none of you women would touch an ugly guy with a 10 feet pole, no matter how much personality the guy has to offer. be honest, personality etc only start to matter if the potential mate clears a certain threshold lookswise, especially if you yourself arent ugly.

For me it's something called "Looksonality" - This is the way a person looks based on their personality ... it CAN'T be fathomed from a photograph ... it must be the live version or nothing.
