i bought this chiffon skirt few months back..about the top i am confused.. for which colour and stuff i should go? silk top or chiffon top? plz advise !

try a jersey type top, any color that is in the skirt would do....(more on the shimmer side) with a jacket (jeans or black or cream) ...it would look nice with this skirt...

Its kinda hard not knowing what the skirt looks like and the length of it.
Because the print on it is extensive with lots of colors i’d keep the top simple.
I would wear it with a plain white cotton long sleeved T-shirt.
To make it more dressy pair it with a vest/waistcoat that matches with the blue or dark green on the skirt.
If you arent into waistcoats then probably a shrug style cardigan in one of the softer colors on the skirt.
If id wear it with just the T-shirt or T-shirt combined with the shrug i’ll keep the shirt outside covering the top of the skirt to give a nice curvy look, if i’ll wear it with the waistcoat i’ll tuck the T-shirt inside the skirt.
and wear white heels.

Go for a simple high neck (incase it's a short skirt) white OR green (hinna color that you see in the skirt print) top in chiffon, not silk. Also pick a small cap, a short neck OR head scarf (color same as the top)

If its general wear u never want a chiffon or silk blouse 
and those r not the right colours for formal wear anyway. I would probably go with a white top, somewhat fitted3/4 or full sleeved. a cami with a shrug would look good too. and if u r ok wearing sleevless then a cami or sleeveless top on its own would look great too and with them u can go with peach or coral too.

silk/satin blouses only look good with high waisted fitted skirts. Like Katrina in Race. Hot!!

Another thing coming back to fashion is pussybow blouses, again they'd look hot with fitted high waisted skirts.
Otherwise stay away from 'em.
