mairay sabar pe koi ajar kyoon, meri dupehar pe koi abar kyoon
mujhe oRhnay day azziyyatain, meri aadatain na kharaab kar

Jo sunaii de usse chup sikha jo dekhayee de usse azaab ker
Abhi muntashir na ho ajnabii na wisaal rutt k karam jitta
Jo terii talaash mien gumm hoay kabhii un dinon ka hisaab ker
Mere sabR per koii ajaR kia merii dopher me ye abaR kion
Mujhe oourhnay de merii azeeatien merii aadatien na kharaab ker
Kaheen aabalo`n k bhunwarr bajien kaheen dhoop dhoop badan sajien
kabhii dil ko thall ka mizaaj de kabhii chashm-e-terr ko chanaab ker
ye hajoom-e-shehR sitam-garaaan na sunay ga terii sada kabhii
merii hasraton ko sukhun suna merii khwahishon se khitaab ker
ye juloos fasl-e-bahaar hai tahii dast yaar saja isse
