I'm 26. I live in the US. I'm totally American. In the sense, that I am patriotic about America. I know more American history than Pakistani history. That sort of thing.
I don't like BS. I don't like interfering MIL's. I believe a husband wife should make their decisions on their own. I dont believe in fancy schmancy lifestyle of dawats every week. I do not cook regularly, so you will have to cook. I work like a horse, and my hours are long - including nights and weekends. Schedule is flexible and will increasingly be flexible as I advance along.
I am spontaneous, fun, sweet, kind, and I believe in supporting my man morally.
I am not looking for a crazy mullah.
No beards please. I like clean shaven men.
I'm pretty. I expect you to be at least half-way pretty.
I believe in commitment. So no second thoughts or running away.
I believe in divorce in one of the following scenarios: You are physically abusive, you drink too much, are on drugs. There was one more I think, but can't remember.
You gotta believe in women's rights, because my daughters WILL wear jeans, they WILL go to nice college, and live away from home for their education if they need to.
As finances tear a family apart, let me get that out in the open too. I'm a woman. I dont need to work. YOU do. So, YOU pay the bills, the mortgage, etc. I DO NOT. I will fill in, of course, if you lose your job, get disabled, etc. But as long as you are healthy and able, you will not mooch off me.
I have rules, that's all. Otherwise, outside of the above stated rules, I'm fairly flexible, and 90% of the time, my answer will be "whatever you want".
Oh, yeah, I do not wear a hijab. Don't believe in it; and do not plan on making my daughters wear it. If they want to, its their decision. Abayas and burqas will definitely not be allowed for the children.
Drugs - never touched them and never will; drinking - I have had a few drinks in a controlled setting and never was drunk, and don't plan on being drunk ever.
