looking for Quiche recipe

does anyone has any good-tried quiche recipes?
please share here.

Here you go Zobia :)

White flour 3cups (the recipe I have asked for 1:2 for wheat and white flour but I've yet to try whole wheat flour in bakinG)

Salt half tsp

Lemon juice 3tsp

Butter 5oz

Mix all of the above, make a dough using cold water.

roll the dough in a 12inch plate and put it in fridge.

Now make filling, I use chicken's. just take boneless chicken fry with garlich and other spices of your choice. Chili sauce oregano etc then I add cabbage and bell peppers stir fry for a while and keep it aside.

Take the dough out after 30mins. Put it in the hot oven bake for 10mins and take it out of the oven.

Throw the chicken filling in the dough. Top with tomato slices. Mix 1cup milk, 3eggs, 1/2 to 1cup shredded cheese of your choice, a pinch of salt. Pour this mixtre on it and then bake it for 30mins at 180 C. switch off the oven after 30mins but keep the quiche there for 15more mins... take it out and enjoy!

Re: looking for Quiche recipe

i just made this crustless quiche and it was quick, super easy, and SO delicious! and tasted even better the next day.
what i love about it is how easy it is to play around with it and make it yours.

Crustless Spinach Quiche - All Recipes

the subs/edits i made:
i diced two chicken breasts and cooked them with the onions in a tiny bit of oil to add to the mixture.
i also added in half a cup of chopped broccoli that i just threw in with the spinach to steam.
i used medium cheddar instead of muenster cheese.
i added in 1 more egg to compensate for the addition of the chicken and the broccoli.
i baked it in one of my pyrex dishes with the top off.

alternatively, you could also add in mushrooms, bell peppers, a mix of cheeses, and/or a splash of cream for a richer texture.

I use cream instead of milk in my quiche recipes… :bummer:

SGC, your recipe sounds yummy, i’m definitely going to try it out with your subs! But it’s not a quiche, it’s a frittata :snooty:
