Frankly, I dont understand the goras problem with introductions in general or why desis feel we have to explain it.

Now if we were talking about a completely arranged marriage where the decision is made for the people and all, thats a different story, however introductions is not.

Americans try to hook up their pals and all. Singles go to single's bars and clubs and even single's valentine day parties to meet that special someone. Why is it strange if the parents or relatives introduce people. Why is it somehow "inferior" just because its alien?
