looking for for an engagement dress due in December 2015.
im currently based in Dubai but open to looking at designers based in Pak

Please guide me on the latest trends, dress ideas, where to go in my dress search, pics etc

Go to Instagram. There are pages that post every socialite event and fashion show in real time. Nichelifestyle, paparazzimagazine and Sundaytimes are a good place to start. Also most major designers are on Instagram as well.

the prob with major designer\s instagram is that the pics of the dress is so not clear and especially with filters, angles of the pic taken etc it becomes extremely difficult to figure out the actual design and colours of the dress :bummer:

Any colour prefererences? Maxi dresses, lengha, or something simpler?

Long kameez preferably......the trend of ivory and dove grey/blue grey dresses are also something I want to look at.
Any ideas would really be appreciated :)

If you are going to be spending a lot of money on a designer dress for engagement, consider a less expansive dress and donate that money to a worthy cause. An expansive dress will make you happy for a few hours at most, but giving in a worthy cause will give you peace for months and years.
