Sid, I dont think he had a multi. But, I am not absolutely sure.
It is kind of crucial that I reach him. So, I am really hoping to find a lead here.

I remember @funguy. Unfortunately, all the peeps he hung out with in General and other forums have also long gone.
The GS admin can fetch you his email address that he used to register here. I dont know if its ethical to share that with another member of the board. Ill let them decide

I came back after a few years. And, the GS vibe has certainly changed. Almost everyone that made GS what it was, is gone.
We dont even know if he still uses the email address he registered with here.
Depending on who the admin is. I can talk to them privately & “present my case”. And, they can decide if its ethically right or not. I know I personally wouldn’t be comfortable if someone just gave away my address without permission.
However, if someone was trying to reach me. I would prefer to know about it first hand, & then decide whether to reach back or not.
Maybe, if one of the admins are personally in touch with him. They can mention me? And, then get me his email address? A working one that is.
I know it’s probably too much to expect. But, at least people know that I am not here to pass time. But, I truly have genuine business that I want to discuss with him.

So far no success. The peeps I checked with dont have any connection nor they looked interested. For what its worth I can tell that you arent the first one who came looking for funguy. There was another female poster as well who came back looking for him.
Unfortunately we cant share his email address. But nevertheless, the PMs, tags, quotes will all send to his same email address. And if he is not responding to that it simply means either its not in use anymore or it was purely for the purpose of GS and hence ineffective.

I dont know why the other female was looking for him. But, I am planning on publishing something online on my blog (not on GS). A recipe inspired by one of his recipes, that he had shared here on Paklinks many years ago. And, I would love to take his permission first. I guess, I will just have to wait.

I have made quite a few friends on GS that I am still in touch with. I was hoping that one of his friends might see this & help me get connected to him. That is if he made friends from here that he still talks to.

The only way to do this ethically is as follows:
You give the Admins permission to provide funguy with your email ID. They can then email him your email id. Rest is up to whether funguy still relceives email at that address and if he reads them and if he chooses to send you an email.
It is totally unethical to share his email I’d with you.

Good luck. I do remember funguy but had limited interaction with him, last I remember him getting married and soon after he started to fade away
