PIA is costing today 580 from london to lahore return online from their site, while emirates cost 100 pound less again online from emirates site. its good to book few weeks in advance to get their cheaper fare online.

funny thing both has almost same flight fare, but emirates has lower tax (112 and PIA 212) which is surprising for a home based airline.

one of the agent mentioned to me that Emirates has special tax discount from Pakistan Govt hence the cheapest to Pakistan though its better airline.

Thanks guys.This whole ticket booking has been a real hassle

Airblue were the cheapest, but when I factored in the cost and hassle of travelling 5 hours either side to Manchester then it wasn’t worth it. PIA , which was my main preference since they fly direct, wanted nearly £1300 for just two people

Long story short, booked ticket with emirates via their website over the weekend for £450ish each which seemed to be the best I was going to get. Got to work on monday only to find that I have work commitments that meant I had to change my departure date back by a few days. Called the call centre and got them changed at the cost of £75 per person, grrr. Then later on that evening had to call back to change the return dates since otherwise we’d only be in pak for two weeks. Call centre want ANOTHER £75 per person to change return dates which means in just two days I have paid an extra £300 to change flights which - when added to the original ticket price - means I might as well have just bought the tickets with PIA anyway

When are you flying? we are also flying Emirates during mid/end march to islamabad.

Try this it is cheapest of all I found last year.

Direct flight to Islamabad.

^ Yes it is, unfortunately they only fly from manchester which is more than a five hour drive from my home town so the extra time and money spent getting to and from the airport negates the money I'd save.

I will be going to pakistan in mid march and coming back in mid April. I will be taking PIA flight as I don't want to go through the hassle of changing flights and waiting on the airport.

I have been quoted about £550 from heathrow to lahore then lahore to multan a domestic flight return which I think is a good deal.
I think if you go to PIA's office instead of agents you get a better deal.
