I am Electronic Engineer (Graduated in 2005 from Pakistan)
Have worked in pakistan as Radio Engineer (that was my first job right after my graduation)
Moved to UAE , got a job as Instruments and Control Engineer worked at Head office in this capacity for about 1 and Half years.
Then I was geared to Cost Control Engineer since last one year.
Actually my Company wanted to Detach the Electromechanical Department from the mainstream company and make it an independent entity and the task of Benifit calculation for the Running and Executed Projects was given to me so to report about the Profit share of our department in the running and executed projects, that I am about to finish.
Manangement would ask me to continue my work as Cost Control Engineer with the Department(that would hopefully work as independent entity) and I got promotion on the same basis some months before.
The Company Have works , expects for having good jobs in future due to its reputation and locall influential sponsorship.
On the other hand ,
I could not say “NO” , when I was assigned with this new type of Job due to my personal family problems and the Employement Slump era and at the same time , I was thinking It is a good opportunity for me having this job.
on the other hand , I thought and still think “I have switched from my field i.e Electronic Engineering to Costing”.
Secondly I would not prefer to continue with the same company.
This Puzzle have brought me towards " To quite the Job , and go for Masters Studies".
But I have some confusions and Hesitations, like.
Is quiting my this job would be risky, In case the company does not permit me for part time studies and I eventually quites the job?
Secondly I am confused about the field of studies wether it should be , Engineering or management?
The Further study desire rised not at once but I had this before, but was looking for suitable time.
Now I think it is best time as I have little gap with my previous studiens, age and have little family previligies and may not find such opportunity in future as the family responsibilities and study gape increases.
