ok i am tryna find the name of this movie which i saw 2/3 yrs back on channel 4, bbc 3 etc…one of those channels.
there was no big cast. all i remember is that the main girl was 16/17 (i think) but quite mature as in she used to work in a factory, used to smoke and was looking for her sister (who was called annie)…the main girl was quite scruffy due to her working in a factory and smoking…they show her trying to find her sister like asking those where she went last time, enquiring her boyfriend…
there was also a scene where the main girl would go by the sea and she used to see her sister standing in the water and she would go behind her telling her stop but the sister used to disappear…the background music used to have a bird’s voice.
the girl also used to get some counselling from a local preist (who is in his 40s)..and later develops a love relationship with him…the priest was married to disabled woman but he doesnot tell her about his marriage…so she sees them one day together and just leaves the priest (i think)
and i think in the end she comes to know how her sister was killed…i think
