It is easy to switch away from Geo TV. There are plenty of equal or better alternatives.
But don’t know the alternatives to Jang. It is a very old and widely circulated Urdu newspaper. Most people grew up reading Jang their whole life. Since it is a huge following so it also attracts lots of journalistic talent from the company. This keeps its standard quite away (minus its biased reporting on the first page and minus likes of Ansar Abbasi’s pathetic “investigative” journalism).
So I am wondering what are the alternatives to Jang in the field of Urdu newspapers? Any idea?
