I’ve been looking on Craigslist, Kijiji and sending emails but no positive response yet. So, I thought of posting it here, if someone is able to help that’ll be great.
Starting next month, I’ll be working in Concordia University for next 6 months. So ideally I’m looking for a place near downtown but I know it can be expensive so its okay if I can find it anywhere on Green/Orange metro lines as long as the metro station is nearby.
If someone can help please PM me.
PS: Didn’t know where to post this, Mods please shift this thread to appropriate section.
I would suggest the area about a km South of the university. It’s away from the downtown core. You can actually find free parking there and I’d expect rent to be a bit cheaper in that area as well. This is all a guess, since I don’t actually live there.
Looking for a studio apartment in Montreal for myself
Looking for a place is so stressful. I have always found MTL to be difficult to navigate in. Don’t really know anyone in the city, mostly familiar with the suburbs. Try turning to real estate agents that show rentals.
Re: Looking for a studio apartment in Montreal for myself
Thanks everyone.
Yes its stressful but not as much as in Paris
I do have previous experience. I lived in MTL before on two separate occasions (at Angrignon and Charlevoix). Both times I got them from Kijiji and Craigslist but they don’t have any vacant place right now.
Anyhow still looking, louer.com has some crazy prices but lets see.
