Plz share names that are mentioned in the Holy Quraan, that appear in surahs.
If it happens to be a boy i’ll name him saqlain, this name is mentioned several times in the long durood shareef. Now i need girls names (only).

be careful when taking names from Quran....
a colleague of mine, says that he was at the hospital in the waiting area, when he heard the name "zania" being called out....
he saw a pakistani man takign along a small girl and responding to the call by going to the doctor's room....
when he came out, this bahraini guy asked him about the name, and he replied that he had taken the name from the Quran for his daughter....
so this friend of mine told him the meaning of the word and advised him to get the name changed....
dont pull out just any word from the Quran and take it as a name....
many people do that (common example being Iqraa)....

I found this pretty interesting website, which lists all Muslim baby names, and the related meanings attached to it. It also has other valuable information, such as policy of choosing names, birth customs, head shave, aqeeqah e.t.c.
I also have a pretty good book at home, which lists the necessary steps that one should take before, and after choosing the baby name. If you like, I will scan some of the pages for you, so you have a chance to read directly what is mentioned in the book.

Problem with the parents these days is that they want new names for their kids, and anything sound different or more arabic is appreciated alot.
Anyways Aaisha is my favourite as u said Noor is already in ur family.
Aasia is another good name with Marium as both names goes back to very noble and respectable ladies in history.
